Gutters, fascias and soffits
Fresh-looking gutters and fascias without the ladder balancing act.
Gutters and fascias meant to be white but now looking a bit green and tired? We carry out gutter, fascia and soffit cleaning across the Isle of Wight. Using our water-fed poles and gentle cleaners where needed, we wash down the outsides of gutters, fascias, soffits and barge/apex boards to lift off salt, algae and road grime. It is the bit that makes the place actually look cared for from the street.
Blocked or overflowing gutters are a different job: that is gutter clearance. If water is already pouring over the top, a clean on its own will not fix it. We also offer a full gutter and downpipe clearance service with high-reach vacuums, ladders where needed and downpipe checks to get everything flowing again before we make it look smart.
Once any blockages are sorted, we wash the outsides of your gutters, fascias and soffits, working safely from the ground wherever we can. We rinse away years of grime, sea air and algae so the white bits look white again: proper kerb appeal without you balancing on a ladder.
Island-wide service from small cottages to larger homes and commercial units. Fresh-looking gutters and fascias, without the faff.

Did you mean gutter clearance?
Gutter cleaning and gutter clearance are not the same thing.
Gutter, fascia and soffit cleaning is the wash-down of the outside: the visible uPVC, gutters, fascias, soffits and trims. Gutter clearance is the removal of leaves, moss and debris from inside the gutter and downpipes so rainwater can flow properly.

Gutter cleaning FAQs
Common questions before you book.
How often should I get my gutters, fascias and soffits cleaned?
Most homes are fine with a yearly clean to keep the gutters, fascias and soffits looking tidy. If you are close to the sea, a main road or lots of trees, they may need cleaning more often to stay ahead of salt, algae and general grime.
How much does gutter and fascia cleaning cost on the Isle of Wight?
The price depends on property size, height, access and whether soffits, cladding or extra uPVC areas are included. Send us the details and we will confirm a clear quote.
Will my gutters and fascias look brand new after cleaning?
A good clean removes green algae, traffic film and general dirt, and in most cases the uPVC comes up much brighter. Very old plastic that is sun-faded or permanently stained may not look factory fresh, but we will be honest about what is realistic.
Do you also clear blocked gutters and downpipes?
Yes. If water is overflowing or standing in the gutter, you will usually want gutter and downpipe clearance before the outside is cleaned. We can advise what is needed from photos or a site visit.
Are you insured for exterior cleaning?
Yes. Wight Cleaning Co is insured for the exterior cleaning services we carry out. Insurance details can be supplied on request, especially for commercial or managed sites.
Do you work from the ground?
We use water-fed poles and high-reach equipment wherever practical, which means many areas can be cleaned from the ground. Where ladders are needed, we use suitable equipment and work within safe access limits.
What areas do you cover for gutter and fascia cleaning?
We cover the Isle of Wight, including Newport, Ryde, Cowes, East Cowes, Sandown, Shanklin, Ventnor, Bembridge, Seaview, Wootton, Yarmouth, Binstead and surrounding areas.
